lovely hotel near the centre
clean room shopping street accommodating staff
i stayed in a large, clean room. it had all the amenities i expected. the hotel is a five minute walk to the main shopping street. it has a large choice of restaurants and pubs. the staff were very accommodating.
i found the reception lady a bit unfriendly. she wasn't what you would like as your first impression of a hotel. i had booked and prepaid online. i was asked for a form of id. i also needed to show a bank card.

the breakfast choice is extensive. a gluten free section is there. there is also a separate toaster provided for those with dietary requirements. the staff is efficient.

The service was good. The front desk, dining and bar, breakfast restaurant, and housekeeping were all helpful. i stayed four nights. Everything was handled well. when my radiator was not working, staff immediately brought a portable one that worked. the bed was comfortable and everything was clean.
The receptionist at check in was not very cute. I found it uncomfortable.

I thought the food was better than restaurants i tried. keynes bar offers a varied menu of fresh dishes. services was excellent and the setting is lovely. We loved the food!

sleeping on a floating cloud is how i would describe the beds. fresh bed linen, in a bright airy and super clean room. the spacious foyer is furnished in a relaxing decor.

the decorations for the christmas holiday were very well done. this hotel was a great home base for hiking and all the activities available. i thought the charges were reasonable.

the breakfast was excellent. staff were lovely and helpful. the hotel is well looked after and rooms were very clean.
i found no bottled water in the room. there was no air con and the room was roasting. the lady at reception was not very cute and i felt uncomfortable

The staff were indeed cute and helpful. the brasserie offered excellent choices. The food tasted great. it included great service. i was happy.
the room had no air conditioning. it felt warm and stuffy. the absence of bottled water felt strange. i found this disappointing and hope this improves.
